Mrs. Dalloway

Mrs. Dalloway is a great novel. I had the chance to actually read some of it. This book does seem to have a great deal of influence on people who actually read it. I like Strem of Conciouness used throughout the novel.

I the class, I got to read some book I didn't think I would get to, let alone have time to read. I had a really great time in the class. Have a great winter break everyone!

Waste Land

Waste Land was very confusing. I think most people, including me, had to read to poem several times just to figure one thing out (if we could even do that). Jsut tor emain happy, I don't think the wife should have told him at all, and let the love be a secret. Something else migh've happened. But he can't help it.

Web Page Assignment

I have no clue what to do ont he web page assignment, and nor does my team. Are we exactly supposed to turn these in individually or as a team? I am very confused. We are supposed to be writing something about Frankenstein I suppose, but I still have no clue.

Great Expectations

We have expecations in life and we want to fulfill those expectations before we die. But what we don't realize is that our expectations may never live up to the standard we want them to. Sure, you should have goals, but have realistic goals. If you expectation is money, realize that money is not everything and it can only bring you so much happiness, even though it helps a lot.

Sorry about the late post, almost didn't make it. With this online class, I tend to sometimes forget to post on time. I am always very busy.

Some of the readings are very interesting, and Ive heard of a lot of points about them that make me want to think about what is happening around me.

Frankenstien

Wherever the monster went, people were surely to be afraid of him. They would mistreat him and beat him. We can see this today in society with children. People all the time have children who then do not care for them or do not give them any love. In is definately very sad.

I've enjoyed the class so far.

Introduction; Thomas Gray

Hello everyone. My name is Daniel Linsenbarth. I am currently attending the University of Central Oklahoma and my major is Biology; Pre-med. I am a Junior; 3rd year. I am twenty-one years old.

Some of my hobbies are reading, games, programming, designing, and playing soccer. I usally read authors like Tom Clancy and Robert Jordan because I love reading things in the categories of military or Fantasy/Sci-Fi.

My favorite author from British literature is Thomas Gray. I loved picking apart some of his odes and poems. The poem I find most fascinating is his poem, "Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard" (128 lines). You can find a good summary here, that explains quite a bit about them poem. Give me your feedback on what you think about the poem and what it stands for. Cheers!
